Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre

As well as the largecollection of flying owls and birds of prey that give rise to the centre’s name, the Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre, formerly known as the Exmoor Falconry, additionally offers a range of alpaca, donkey and Shetland walking treks, together with wonderful landscaped gardens and a lovely tea garden.

Ride out as far as you can see on the farm’s quality horses, on open moorland, woodland or village rides. One hour, two hour or half day rides are available for adults with some riding experience, all with small groups of up to only five riders, and fully licensed by West Somerset Council.

Whether or not you are interested in riding, there is much to be enjoyed at the Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre. Each day within the delightful 15th century National Trustfarmyardsextensive animal handling opportunities are offered, including snakes, lizards, rabbits and ferrets, as well as dynamic and interactive flying displays of the large collection of birds of prey. Make a point of dropping into the Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre during your holiday and enjoy this unique chance to meet, feed, ride and fly some of the many animals! 

The centre is open from 10.30-4.30 daily, with an entrance cost of £8.50 for adults, £6.50 for senior citizens and £5.50 for children. A family rate of £25.50 admits 2 adults and 2 children.
