A warm welcome awaits you at Whortleberry’s traditional tearoom in Porlock.

The berry from which the tearoom gets its name, whortleberry is one of the preserves you can try with homemade scones. Wash that (or any of the fine range of preserves, chutney and jellies made byBrendon Hill Crafts) down with one of ten loose leaf teas and five strengths of coffee, or a herbal or fruit infusion also on the menu. Additionally, choose from a selection of homemade cakes to compliment your stay in the relaxing surrounds of the tearoom which has been awarded a 5 star hygiene certificate and features level access and disabled facilities, an attractive walled patio for the summer and an open coal fire for winter. Dogs are also welcome to come in for a bowl of fresh water and a bonio!

Whortleberry is open all year round, from Wednesday to Saturday. Please ring for opening hours and table reservations.
